Linda Arpino Obituary

Linda Milici Arpino, 84, of West Haven passed away on February 24, 2026, in CT Hospice. She was the beloved wife of the late Samual P. Arpino.  Linda was born in New Haven on April 28,1941, dear daughter of the late Michael J. Milici and Doris Torello Milici. She was the loving sister of Karen (Donald) Ludington and Michael (Trista) Milici, adored Auntie Nin to Cory Ludington, Kelcy (Tim) Napolitano, Michael Milici, Andie and Will Napolitano, Brianna (Ryan) Nobile and Neil (Victoria) Clyne.

Linda graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and then earned her bachelor’s degree in education at Southern Connecticut State University. Upon graduation, she began working as a second-grade teacher in the West Haven school system. She loved telling stories about her teaching days and special memories with her students. When she and Sam opened their plumbing and air conditioning company, she changed her career path to support the business they built.

Linda dedicated her life to her family and her precious dogs MacDuff, Brandy, Wendy, Bear and Clancy. Along with her love of animals, Linda appreciated art in every form. From painting beautiful pictures to crocheting blankets and numerous stuffed animals, Linda was always creating. An accomplished pianist and organist, she loved her music and playing for her family and friends who loved her so. We all looked forward to receiving her handwritten letters and cards that came often. Linda leaves many wonderful friends and extended family who brought joy to her life. She will truly be missed by all.

We want to thank all the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at Connecticut Hospice for all the comfort and care they provided for Linda during her final days.

Visitation will take place on Monday morning, March 2nd from 9 to 10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Vianney Church, St. John XXIII Parish at 11 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
