Robert G. DelPomo, Sr.

Robert G. DelPomo, Sr., entered into rest on February 27, 2026. He was the cherished husband of Jane Marie D’Amato DelPomo, who died in 2018. Bob’s family includes his beloved son Robert G. (Malisa) DelPomo, Jr. two granddaughters Maya and Olivia, cousins Norma Zacchilli and the late Mary Lou Battista, sister-in-law Milagros “Millie” D’Amato, niece Talia (Chris) Diorio, Carol (the late Alphonse) Proto and children Maria DeMattie and Alicia Richitelli and of course his constant companion, his fur baby Annie. Bob was predeceased by his parents Gennaro and Rose Pedone DelPomo. For twenty-three years Bob worked for the North Haven Board of Education.  He retired as the head custodian.  He enjoyed woodcarving and could often be found sharing a cup of coffee with friends down at the beach, accompanied by Annie.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

The hours for visitation will take place on Thursday March 5, 2026 from 5 to 8 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.  All other services are private.
